Ghanaian actress cum film producer, Ama K Abebrese has fired a stray bullet at Wendy Shay, D-Black, Shatta Wale, Darkovibes, Kwesi Arthur, and other celebrities who are fighting the FDA and Gaming Commission.

Wendy Shay, Shatta Wale, D-Black, and the aforementioned celebrities including others who have not made their stance open are in a thug of war with the FDA and Gaming Commission for imposing a ban on celebs.

According to the FDA and the Gaming Commission, celebrities are not allowed in anyway to endorse alcoholic beverages or advertise for sports betting firms.

This has caused an uproar among a section of celebrities who have deals with beverages and betting firms in Ghana as they feel the institutions are indirectly taking foods out of their mouths. Wendy Shay in particular has dragged the institutions to the human rights court.

Reacting to this, movie producer, Ama K Abeberese has taken to twitter to slam celebs for acting dumb.

In her tweet, she highlighted on the fact that Nigerian youth’s are busily fighting and protesting for reforms for their human rights. Meanwhile some Ghanaian celebrities are fighting the FDA and Gaming commission to promote alcohol and bet to the youth in the name of human rights.

She wrote; “Nigerian youths are fighting to #EndSARS #EndSWAT & end #PoliceBrutality for their Human Rights. In Ghana, some celebrities are fighting to be paid to promote alcohol and sports betting to youths as a ‘Human Rights’ issue. Everyone has a right to protest what matters to them.”
