Award Winning Jeopardy! game show host, Alex Trebek has died at 80 after being diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in 2019.
The sad news was reported by the official twitter account of the show.

Alex had been hosting the Jeopardy show since 1984 and won lots of awards including Emmy and Lifetime Achievement Awards. He also became a record holder in the Guinness Book of Records as the game with most episodes with the same presenter, in 2014.
He had presented over 8,200 episodes of the show.
Sony Pictures, who produced Jeopardy!, sent in some tribute to honour his passing.
“For 37 amazing years, Alex Trebek was that comforting voice, that moment of escape and entertainment at the end of a long, hard day for millions of people around the world.” The post said.
Alex left behind his wife and three children.
