Veteran Ghanaian movie star, who is professionally known as lilwin, has predicted that, the future of Ghana music hangs around the neck of contemporary Highlife musician who performs under the stage name Akwaboah, Gossips24.com reports.
According to the screen “wizard” turned musician because the Ghanaian movie industry is near collapsing , Akwaboah is the only Ghanaian present-day musician who produces timeless and sensible songs.
In an exclusive on-air Tv interview in the studios of BRYT TV, the comic-actor per his assumptions, categorically stated that, musicians most notably patapaa produce senseless songs which can not stand the test of time.
To validate his predictions, he cited Legendary Daddy Lumba and Highlife genius Nana Amakye Dede as old-hand musicians who’s songs still enjoy massive radio and Tv airplay because they are sensible.
Ending his submissions, he also sighted that dignitaries and diplomats attend the concerts of the aforementioned Highlife gods.
