Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has predicted that Akufo-Addo will face severe difficulties and challenges in his second term of governance citing the present number of seats that the NPP has in parliament.
After 7th December’s general elections, the Electoral Commission announced that the NPP has 137 seats while the NDC has 136 seats with one seat belonging to an independent candidate last Wednesday.
Reacting to this unfavourable condition on the side of the NPP, Kennedy Agyapong submitted the thoughts below during appearance on his NET 2 TV
The President will suffer in his second term as President because previously, the NPP had the majority of the seats and we could vote for all bills to go through. Look at the number of bills we passed in Parliamnet It was because we had a majority.
