It can be recalled that prior to 7th December’s general elections, the Inspector General Of Police, Mr James Oppong Boanuh, publicly announced that Nana Addo has ordered that a sum of GH¢1000.00 was to be paid into the accounts of police officers to boost their morale in the performance of the special assignment on the election day.
From what we are hearing from officers in the Police force, the salary adjustment which they were promised in November never made it into their bank accounts this month.
Rumours also have it that, the angered security agents are scheming a petition to be thrown at the door steps of the government for indirectly making a fool out of them.
