Blakk Rasta has described Nana Addo is a hypocrite for dismissing g@y rights in the country after members of the LGBTQ+ community ardently requested for their community to be recognized in the country.
Earlier last week, Akuffo Addofirmly stated that Ghana will in no way accpet homosexualit in the country henec people who belongs to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) commumity should cease asking for recognition in the country.
A line of his speech read;
“For same-sex marriage to be legalized in Ghana, it will not happen in my time as President”.
President Akufo-Addo made the remark at St. Micheal and All Angels Cathedral in Asante Mampong during the installation of the Second Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Ghana.
“I have said it before, and let me stress it again, that it will not be under the Presidency of Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo that same-sex marriage will be legal”, he further stressed
In reaction to this official announcement from the president, popular highly-opinionated radio presenter cum reggae act, Blakk Rasta has questioned why Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has dismissed anything gay but go to the same gay people for a loan.
Speaking in an interview with Arnold Mensah, Blakk Rasta opined that the action and attitude of Ghana’s president is mere hypocrisy and that should be questioned.
He additionally added that if the country abhors anything gay, those in authority especially the president should stop going to the gay people for loans and grants.
