Former president of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has fiercely criticized the sitting president; Nana Addo and further argued that he has disappointed Ghanaians using his 2016 manifesto as the reference.

As strongly contended by the NDC flagbearer, Akufo Addo overly raised the expectations of Ghanaians prior to the 2016 elections with the NPP’s manifesto.

But have not fulfilled even a quarter of the promises he made which persuaded Ghanaians to massively vote for him.

During a live TV political discussion on Woezor TV, John Mahama further added that, Akufo Addo is a chronic liar because he knew couldn’t delver the promises he made in the NPP’s 2016 manifesto but went ahead to make them because of power.

…He raised expectations so high but was very low on delivery… You can see people feel disappointed in his administration saying this democracy is not working for them…

John Mahama who solidly believes that he will defeat Nana Addo in the impending elections also added that, he’s miles ahead of the sitting president in terms of achievements.

He further went ahead to brag that he did more for Ghanaians during his tenure in office as the present compared to Akufo Addo’s NPP led government.

…My opponent comes nowhere near me in terms of my record.

I built schools, I built hospitals, I repaired the roads. We expanded Tema ports. We built terminal three and the University of Ghana Medical Hospital…

John Mahama reiterated.
