The lawyer of Ghanaian socialite, Akuapem Poloo’s Andy Vortia has come out to rubbish the fast-spreading rumours that have gone rife on the internet this early morning that the mother of one has been jailed.
According to him, although Akuapem Poloo might be jail to the maximum term of two years, there are mitigating factors to plea for lighter sentencing such as a fine or bonding.
Whiles detailing why Poloo was asked to go for a pregnancy test, Lawyer Andy Vortia revealed it’s part of the proceeding for non-menopausal women and it literally doesn’t mean Poloo is bound to be thrown into jail.
Lawyer Andy Vortia gave out this education earlier this morning on Peace FM.
Akuapem Poloo was convicted after releasing a photo where she posed n@ked in front of her 7-year-old child during his birthday photoshoot session last year.
Akuapem Poloo’s final verdict from the court will be given in some few hours time.
