Maa Alice, the woman who was mentioned to have given comedian Derrick Kobina Bonney popularly known as DKB an amount of money to be given to Akuapem Poloo has spoken.
In a video that was published on Akuapem Poloo’s Instagram page, the embattled actress and social media star said she had received multiple calls from strange people asking her why she has not shown appreciation since her release.
She added that one caller who is known as Maa Alice complained bitterly suggesting that she [Poloo] was ungrateful.
Akuapem Poloo revealed that Maa Alice had given DKB an amount of GHS4,000 during the time she was incarcerated. She said all efforts to reach DKB did not yield any result.
DKB denied speaking when he was contacted by Peace FM to address the issue.
In sharp contrast to what Akuapem Poloo said, Maa Alice has come out to clear the air.
In explaining what really happened, she said Ayisha Modi asked her to send $1,000 but Akuapem Poloo hanged up before she could finish her statement [that was when she tried calling DKB].
Maa Alice, in a text message, said DKB did not receive any such amount from her.
