The inauguration of the 8th parparliament of Ghana is currently ongoing at the Parliament House in Accra.
At exactly 12:00am on January 7 2021 as the constitution demands, the 7th Parliament of Ghana was dissolved to make way for the inauguration of the 8th Parliament under the fourth republic.
There’s been several misunderstanding between the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) over sitting positions and the presence of the Mp-elect of Assin North, James Gyakye Quayson.
However, Member of parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo who was rumored to be in the UK after giving birth has shown up at the parliament.
She spoke during the process of the inauguration of the 8th parliament.
