Sarah Adwoa Safo has been revoked as the Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection by President Akuffo-Addo.
This was stated in a press statement from the Presidency on July 28 that was signed by Eugene Arhin, the Director of Communications.
According to the statement, President Akufo-Addo did so under Article 81(a) of the 1992 Constitution.

Yesterday, Speaker of the Parliament Alban Bagbin postponed making a decision over Sarah Adwoa Safo’s position as a Dome Kwabenya MP.
After listening to arguments from both sides of the House on Thursday, Alban Bagbin said that he will give the House a written decision with reasons at the following meeting.
After numerous repeated effort by the Committee to contact Sarah Adwoa Safo, she did not come before the Committee to explain her absence for more than fifteen sittings.
