Actress, Chioma Ifemeludike has trashed Uche Ogbodo after taking to the gram to urged people in unhappy marriages to walk out.
Uche Ogbodo not long ago took to social media to quizzes why people still stay in unhappy marriages despite all the red flags noting that there’s nothing special in it.
The mother of two children however asked if these people are still in such marriages because of poverty or they are blind to see hence they should wake up and walk out of the marriage.
Well, this statement has triggered Chioma Ifemeludike to react as she stated that one having a bitter experience in marriage doesn’t mean he or she should walk out because marriage is important in society and in the eyes of God.
She also cautions Uche Ogbodo to stop badmouthing marriage and urging people to stop being in their marriage due to her experience after being with two men.
She wrote, “If it doesn’t favour you the first time you can keep trying. Don’t bad mouth it because you’re not enjoying it, you could be discouraging others, there are people who are committed to staying in marriages just to protect their children and I think that’s a valid reason as long as they are not in danger (domestic abuse).
Marriage is very important to society and God, it’s an institution which determines how a society turns out, it’s a union that produces and builds a child to become leaders and champions.
Staying single is not a crime but a sin (because you go dey fornicate) and you will certainly not feel cool if people start castigating you for that reason.
Let’s just respect everyone’s decision and advice in love because at the end of the day no body is perfect!”
