Research done by Numbeo has revealed that Ghana’s capital city Accra has been ranked as the second most expensive city in the world.
According to reports, a crowd-sourced global database of reported consumer prices, the classification is due to property price to income ratio.

Accra is said to be above the likes of Hong Kong (Hong Kong), Shenzhen (China), Moscow (Russia), Paris (France) as well as many other world-class cities.
They further revealed that Ghana is the country with the highest Mortgage percentage income ratio and is closely followed by countries like Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Tehran (Iran).

Numbeo further added that Memphis, Tennessee happens to be the city that is most affordable to stay in regards to its property rate to income ratio.
The data was collected from 482 cities from all over the world and also revealed that Ghana is the country with the lowest loan affordability in the world.
