Gospel musician Patience Nyarko says award-winning artiste Joe Mettle does not have written songs to his credit than any of the other gospel musicians in Ghana.
According to Patience Nyarko, Joe Mettle has not reached the height Ghanaians are projecting him to have reached because he is not much of a creative artiste.

The ‘Obi Nyanime’ hit singer stated without mincing words that Joe only performs Methodist and Pentecostal hymns.
She explains that he may not succeed when the Methodist Church or the Church of Pentecost directs that their songs should not be used by musicians in Ghana.
She said, “How many English songs has Joe Mettle composed in this country? Let [the Church of] Pentecost and Methodist Church come out with a directive that no musician should sing their songs, I tell you he will fall”.
After her statement, a few Ghanaians, especially lovers of the male Gospel musician have suggested that Patience’s statement is a jealous one and that does not make sense.
