Ghanaian musician, Fameye has joined the list of some Ghanaians singers who have expressed their disappointment in the organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) nominations.
They feel they were deserved to be in certain categories looking at how they performed under the year review.
The likes of Amerado Burner, Gospel singer Esther Piesie, Ras Kuuku, Blakk Rasta and Abeiku Santana have all criticized Charter House accusing them of nepotism and favoritism.
Recently, Abeiku Santana descended heavily on Charter House for snubbing Kofi Kinaata and fameye in the Artiste of The Year category.
However, Fameye who has been nominated for 5 categories says even though he’s a little disappointed he wasn’t selected for the Artiste of The Year Award, he’s still happy.
He further explain that he really worked hard last year and he was expecting to be nominated for the artiste of the year category but the opposite happen.
Fameye has been nominated for 5 categories, they are; Highlife Artiste of The Year, Songwriter Of The Year, Most Popular Song of The Year, Afropop Song of The Year and Record of The Year.
