Senegalese-American singer, songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur Aliaune Damala Badara Akon Thiam who is widely known in the showbiz industry as Akon has made a very shocking revelation about his life then and now.
According to the musician who has a lot of hit tracks, he used to enjoy his life when he was poor because he had little to nothing to think about all the time.
Reacting to a statement he made when actor Michael K. Williams died he revealed that when he said rich people have more problems he didn’t mean to disrespect the dead actor but prove a point that life when rich comes with a lot of issues.
Speaking during an interview with TMZ at the airport he revealed that he grew up playing ball with his foot on the ground as well as living with no light and food to even eat at times but he was happy knowing there weren’t many problems for him to think about.
The 45 years old Akon further revealed that now that he is wealthy, he still misses the old him who used to be poor.
