It can be recalled that on January 15th 2020, Ghanaian professional boxer, Isaac Dogboe shared a tweet on his Twitter page which signalled a suicide contemplation.
Fans of the sportsman stormed the comments section of his tweet to dish out parcels of advice to him and notable amongst these slices of advice was “Suicide is never the option“.
His tweet read;
I wait for the day I take my final breath and bid farewell to the world Folded hands… and I hope when that day comes you won’t be sad.”
In a follow-up tweet which has been spotted on his page, Isaac Dogboe has put forward that had it all wrong about his suicide contemplation which was linked to his former tweet.
According to him, he will never take his won life so his fans should keep calm.
In the tweet, he also thanked his fans for their concerns and the love they showed him within the few days his tagged suicide tweet went viral.
He wrote;
Thank you all for your concerns..first and foremost I am not going to kill myself.
My tweet has a deeper meaning to it than it’s construed to be..
Nonetheless, I’m grateful for the show of Love.
