The Airbus scandal together with Agyapa have become very popular as a result of the back and forth involving the Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu and some members of the opposition NDC.
The NDC members and sympathizers have expressed a lack of relationship in the Airbus and Agyapa deals which the Special Prosecutor is trying to establish by calling it ‘needless’.
While presenting a report on the Agyapa royalties, Mr. Amidu decided to add the Airbus scandal naming former President John Mahama as the alleged ‘Government Official One’.
A member of the NDC’s Communication Team, Maadi Jibril has said that Mr. Amidu’s action was because he was intoxicated with Cognac.
The former President Mahama had earlier described Mr. Amidu as a ‘coward’ for that action he took.
