Beggars storm streets of Accra shortly after Akufo-Addo lifted lockdown

Beggars usually found on the streets of Accra have bounced to ‘business’ shortly after Akufo-Addo lifted a three-weeks partial lockdown.

President Akufo-Addo in his seventh Address to the country, at last, lifted the halfway lockdown permitting people in Greater Accra Region and bigger pieces of Kumasi to uninhibitedly move around.

While, a section of the populace have decided not step out despite the lift of lockdown, the beggars couldn’t wait for even a day as they besiege the streets of Accra to continue their daily hustle.

In a video sighted by Gossips24s.com, these beggars are seen waiting patiently near the traffic lights, and as soon as the lights go red, they quickly go near vehicles begging for money.
