9-yr-old boy set to graduate from university with Bachelor’s Degree

A Nine-year-old Belgian is set to make record in world’s education history.

The young boy named Laurent Simons is reported to be preparing for his university graduation which will earn him a Bachelor’s degree.

Laurent Simons is studying electrical engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TUE), a very tough course even for students of an average graduate age, report cited on CNN reveals.

“They noticed something very special about Laurent,” said Lydia. While Laurent comes from a family of doctors, his parents have so far not received any explanation as to why their child prodigy is capable of learning so quickly.

Laurent was given test after test as teachers tried to work out the extent of his talents. “They told us he is like a sponge,” said Alexander.

This is the first time the world is witnessing a yet-to-be graduate at that age.
