Some 9 suspects have been arrested and paraded by the Oye State Police for their involvement in the looting and vandalism of the Iseyin police station few days ago.
The suspects, Taoered Hamsat, Tajudeen Ibrahim, Moshood Fatai, Musibau Abubakar, Sikiru Aliu, Fasasi Fatai, Isiaka Olaniyi, Raheem Toheeb and Adeleke Akeem, took advantage of the #EndSARS protest to loot and burn some valuables of the police station according to Joe Enweonu, the state commissioner of police.
Also, Mr. Enweonu said that the suspects were apprehended around Oke-Ogun and items including a clock, a generator, and motorcycles were retrieved.
He also said that some other six suspects have been arrested and prepared for court for attacking the palace of Soun of Ogbomoso land, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungbade the 3rd.
