Season 5 Winner of Big Brother Naija, Laycon, has donated to some sickle cell patients in Nigeria.
Laycon had revealed during the reality competition that he was a sickle cell patient citing that as a reason why he looked malnourished and lanky.
After winning the competition, the reality star did not keep all his wins to himself but has donated some to other people who also have his condition.
TOHAI NIGERIA, the beneficiary foundation of Laycon’s donations was full of gratitude as they wrote;
”Thank you @itsLaycon for donating to sickle cell warriors support in Nigeria. As an organization advocating for newborn screening for Sickle Cell disease and associated treatments for children in low resources settings in Nigeria, we appropriate your generosity. God bless you big”
Some others who benefited from the donations haled Laycon as well. Among them was a cousin of one Bolaji Ekun. Bolaji did not remain quiet.
He wrote;
“My cousin took her son to sickle cell foundation idiaraba to get drug for her son , she was told to pay little amount of money cos Laycon gave them money to treat SS patient. She cried and she was so happy cos her president love them. Thanks Laycon”
