Noguchi Memorial Institute has announced that University of Ghana students who were placed under mandatory quarantine have tested negative for coronavirus.
The students, 82, and twelve employees were quarantined when a mate of theirs tested positive for virus upon her return from the United States of America.
Noguchi Memorial Institute added that after 14 days in quarantine, a test was run on their individual samples at the Noguchi Memorial Institute.
They tweeted; The University of Ghana @UG is pleased to inform members of the university community and the public that all the University’s primary contacts of the reported COVID-19 patient from the University have tested negative after going through the 14-day period of quarantine.
