Hunsu Sunday, 70, has called trouble upon himself because he decided that of all the women of his size in his area, he will rather sleep with and impregnate his own 15-year-old granddaughter.
The victim who had been living with her grandfather since she lost her mother confided in another relative about how the old man had been sexually abusing her.
The relative took action by reporting the situation to the police who arrested the man.
The Ogun State police has revealed that Mr. Sunday has confirmed the reports in a statement.
“On interrogation, he confessed having carnal knowledge of his granddaughter, but claimed that he didn’t know that the victim is pregnant. The victim has been taken to hospital for medical treatment.”
Mr. Sunday is scheduled to be transferred to the anti-human trafficking and child labour unit of the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation and prosecution.
