A big blow to the NDC as 37 women in Assin Central Constituency of the Central Region, who are loyal and firebrand members of the political party , including the Branch Women Organizer for the political party in Assin Atonsu;
Mrs Mary Darkor AKA Obaayaa Enterprise has renounced their faith and unflinching support for NDC as they defect to the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Gossips24.com reports
In an interview with Isaac Donkoh AKA PROF IKE on Oman Fm , Mr Mary Donkor who’s the leader of the 38 member group and former NDC Atonsu Branch Women Organizer categorically stated that;
Life was unbearable and harsh for them under the previous John Mahama administration because there was no money in the country.
“
For over 20 years that we have been with the NDC, our lives have not improved,
They only think about themselves and do not care a hoot about us, so we have decided to join the NPP, they stated.
The 38 member group told OMAN FM newsThe former NDC members also disclosed that , they were encouraged to join the NPP party due to the introduction of Free SHS education by the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led Government.
Mr Charlotte Adwoa Antwi, The Central Region women Organizer for NPP expressed her appreciation to the women for believing and trusting in the NPP’s economic transformation Policy.
It’s only jokers who do not believe in the Free SHS policy. Nana AKufo-Addo has done it and will do more in the next four years.
