Ghana confirmed its first two cases of coronavirus on March 12, 2020. Between then and now – Two Weeks -Ghana has recorded over 300 suspected cases of coronavirus in Ghana.
According to the official portal of Ghana Health Service which is the direct source of Coronavirus information in Ghana, the country is dealing with 315 suspected cases of coronavirus at the moment.
As at 22 March 2020, Ghana had recorded 24 coronavirus cases. 23 cases are active with 1 death recorded so far.
Among the confirmed cases, seventeen (17) are of Ghanaian nationality and seven (7) other nationals namely: Norway, Lebanon, China, France, UK.
The portal also reported a total of 575 contacts have been identified and are being tracked.
