245 Ghanaians deported from Kuwait finally arrive in Ghana (Video)

245 Ghanaians who were living in Kuwait have finally arrived in Ghana amid the border closure over the coronavirus pandemic.

They were brought into the country today, Saturday, May 23, 2020, on a chartered flight.

Minister of Information, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah on Friday, May 22, 2020, said the Government of Kuwait had taken care of the travel cost.

He said the 245 persons will be mandatorily quarantined and tested for COVID-19.

The deportees in a video were seen in their nose masks with little or no luggage as they marched in a single file at the Kotoka Airport arrival hall.
