Muhammed Zubairu a 21-year-old man has been arrested by the police after she killed her pregnant girlfriend after buying an abortion pill for her to terminate the pregnancy.
The deceased lady whose name was identified as Sane Fidelis was said to have gotten pregnant for Mohammed who revealed that he wasn’t ready to become a there, therefore, they should get rid of the baby.
According to reports Mohammed along with his friend conspired and administered the drugs to the deceased in an effort to carry out a clandestine abortion where they ended up terminating her life.
The young man after his arrest confessed to the killing of her own girlfriend after he was charged with conspiracy and causing death by an act done with an intent to cause abortion which contravened sections 60 and 204 of the penal code law.
The defendant, who was arrested on November 14, 2021, speaking during his court hearing revealed that they had s3x only three times causing her to get pregnant but he was not ready to father a child which led to him buying the pills.
The ruling Magistrate Alheri Ishaku who presided over the case after listening to his plea remanded him into prison as he further adorned the case to December 13, 2021.
