A street in Accra was in a state of pandemonium after a very large snake was found trying to cross from green grass to a house nearby when people spotted it and prevented it from entering anyone’s home by killing it.
According to reports, a gardener who was working on a field saw the animal crossing from the garden to another part of the street which prompted him into trying his possible best to kill it.
Those who were around including a policeman pursued it but the moment was fraught with much drama as the cop clearly chickened out after throwing one stone at the reptile and ran away.
Another man who was also standing by started shooting at the snake with his pistol as the animal tried to run for its life.
