2024 will be a “Do Or Die” affair – John Dumelo throws his support behind former President John Mahama

Apart from Aseidu Nketiah, former parliamentary aspirant, John Dumelo is the latest NDC chieftain to support former President John Mahama’s infamous “Do or Die” mantra that has since become a National topic since last Tuesday.

According to John Dumelo, he together with other NDC sympathizers will not sit down aloof for the party to be cheated once again in the next general elections come 2024.

He explained that Mahama’s comment suggests the NDC has learned from its mistakes and will do all possible to avoid being fooled a second time in 2024.

The politician-cum-actor further stressed that Mahama only advised party members to be prepared to fight the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 elections, but that this does not imply violence.

Whiles reacting to the issue on Twitter, he wrote;

Simply put, elections must be won at the polling stations. We will protect the ballot box with all we have. We won’t cheat but we won’t allow ourselves to be cheated.

Last Tuesday, whiles speaking during an interview on Akina Fm John Mahama revealed that 2024 will see his party policing all the polling stations and also making sure that every single vote been cast has been counted to the latter.

His comments have been condemned by some Ghanaians most especially the ruling NPP supporters.
