The Director-General of National Road Safety Authority (NRSA), Mrs May Obiri-Yeboah, officially disclosed that a total of 10,535 road accidents has been recorded within the span of 8 months.
During a press briefing, she urged the leaders of various political parties to lace road safety measures in their campaign messages to their supporters.
She also drew the attendees attention to the fact the new data shows a rise in road accidents and casualties, including deaths, in the years 2000, 2004, 2008, and 2012, which were all years which general elections were held
