Jennie Stejna, a 103-year-old woman from Massachusetts was seen celebrating her victory over Covid-19 with a chilled bottle of beer.
According to Jennie Stejna’s family, she tested positive for coronavirus in late April, it was then that her family has been preparing for her burial since the deadly virus had already taken the lives of thousands.

At one point, her family was told that Stejna had stopped eating and drinking and might not make it through the night. They called her for one last goodbye, Gunn said. When Gunn’s husband, a Navy retiree, asked Stejna if she was ready to pass away, she responded “Hell yeah,” according to the family.
But on May 13, Gunn got the news that Stejna had recovered.“We’re truly very thankful,” Gunn said.
“She always had that feisty fighting spirit… She didn’t give up,” Gunn.
To celebrate, Stejna enjoyed a chilled bottle of beer, something she loved but hadn’t had in a long time, Gunn said.
Stejna has two children, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
