Embattled Menzgold CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah, aka NAM1 has reacted to critics who bashed him for neglecting Menzgold customers to sign artistes onto Zylofon Music.
Nam1, as earlier announced, has signed a new artiste, Tiisha, and is set to unveil a new artiste in the coming weeks to ensure Zylofon Music gets back on its feet.
With Menzgold customers still grieving their loss, many have questioned why the CEO of Menzgold will not just focus on paying his customers instead of using the monies to sign artistes and hold plush ceremonies.
The ill comments passed by social media commentators have gotten to NAM1 who has swiftly responded and explained his actions to kick start and resurrect the Zylofon Music label which has been dormant for sometime.
He explained that though both companies are linked in terms of ownership, the debt of one company does not mean the other cannot be in operation. He said it will be “a very low shot at logic and a glaringly incredible display of intellectual deficiency or bankruptcy”.
According to Nana Appiah, Menzgold has been able to pay Ghc 9.6 million but he believes more can be done when he invests in other sectors to make more revenue in order to cater for the loss.
