“You guys must reduce your data charges for Ghanaians” – Shatta Wale to Telcos

Ahead of his much anticipated “FAITH CONCERT“, Shatta Wale has asked Telecommunication companies and internet service providers in Ghana to reduce their data charges for Ghanaians.

The dancehall king announced his online concert which will be streamed live on facebook, YouTube, and Instagram will come off on April 4, 2020.

However, there is a major concern among the average Ghanaian – the cost of internet bundle/data.

Since businesses are on hold and major streams of income on a halt amid the imposed lockdown in some parts of Greater Accra and Kumasi, the SM boss has made a plea to Telcos in Ghana via his social media.

Taking to Twitter, Shatta Wale in the quest to ensure that all his fans across the country watch his concert online has asked MTN, Vodafone, Airtel-Tigo and other service providers to reduce their data charges before 4th April.

He said he wouldn’t hesitate to campaign for the network with the least data charges should the need arises.

He wrote; “MTN, Vodafone, Airtel-tigo etc you guys for reduce your data charges for Ghanaians to be able to patronize my show on the 4th April. If no be so, I go make all my fans stream plus the one with the cheapest offer p3. I talk my own. Thank you 🙏🏽#SMFaithconcert #FaithConcert
