Reports have it that a teacher named Mrs. Nzube-Obi Obiechina who claimed that she was kidnapped and tortured by SARS officers for 22 days in 2017, leading to her miscarrying her two-months old pregnancy, is the sister of Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike also called Evans, a serious kidnapper.
According to her, the police detained her and her husband without trial.
When the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Enquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS and related abuses met, they questioned her about the subject. However, she said that she had not seen or heard from her brother before he was apprehended.
Mrs. Obiechina and her husband Ogechukwu Obiechina are therefore pursuing the payment of the N2million promised them by the Lagos Federal High Court as compensation for what they went through.
