Ghanaian contemporary classical female musician, Noella Wiyaala known under the stage name Wiyaala has been invited to the Recording Academy/GRAMMYs 2022 membership class.
The elated Wiyaala is grateful for the prestigious outfit and has expressed heartwarming appreciations on social media
The celebrated Griot is among over 2000 new members who received invitations on June 28, 2022, to the academy’s 2022 class.
The invitations reflect the invitees’ significant contributions to music, as well as a passion to influence progressive changes within the music industry.
Reacting to the invitation and as a way of accepting the honor, the “Lioness of Africa” happily wrote on her verified Twitter handle;

The invitees have until July 12 to approve their invitations if they are to vote for the 65th annual Grammy Awards.
