“The NPP will never legalize Okada business” – Dr Bawumia tells Okada riders

Clashing with the numerous speculations which alleged that the ruling NPP party is laying down plans to regulate and legalize the controversial Okada business.

The vice president of the Republic, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has shattered the dreams of Okada riders who had it at the back of their minds that;

They were just some inches away from carrying out their business in a stress-free module in the capital and other cities of the country.

According to Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, legalizing the Okada business is like placing an atomic bomb in the centre of the city; Very unwise and deadly at the same time!

The renowned economist also added that there are much better and safer means of transportation than Okada so commuters should stick to such and forget about the legalization of Okada.

Dr Bawumia made this statement earlier this morning during a meeting with the executives of VW and BlackIvy to sign an MoU on mass production of affordable homes and cars for the Ghanaian people.

Meanwhile the NDC- John Mahama led party have promised to legalize and regulate the Okada business if they are voted back into power after 7th December’s general elections.
