After being accused by some angry and bitter NDC supporters for allegedly receiving bribe from some NPP bigwigs to vote for Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Hawa Koomson and DR Akoto in the secret balloting session in parliament after they were rejected.
“The Leadership and entire Parliamentary caucus of the NDC wish to reiterate our commitment to the cause of the great National Democratic Congress (NDC)” ; a statement signed by Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu has said on Friday, March 5.
Following the approval of all the ministers vetted by the Appointments Committee of Parliament, National Communications Officer of the NDC Sammy Gyamfi cried wolf.
And angrily asserted that the party has been betrayed by the Speaker of Parliament Mr Alban Bagbin Bagbin and the leadership of the NDC in parlimanet.
According to Sammy Gyamfi said Mr Bagbin, the Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu and Member of Parliament for Asawase Muntaka Mubaraka brazenly defied the leadership of the party and betrayed “the collective good for their selfish interest.”
This apology and message of consolation was influenced by all the heavy tantrums Sammy Gyamfi and other comrades of the party threw on the internet 2 days ago.
