The final burial rites for late former president, Jerry John Rawlings is currently underway at the Black Star Square formerly, Independence Square
Former President Rawlings sadly lost his life last year November 2020 after a short illness believed to be coronavirus complications.
Mr Rawlings will be laid to rest today, Wednesday, January 27, 2021, after the ceremony.
