Rapper Edem has advised that people should stop reading meanings to his new song ‘Toto’.
Speaking in an interview with Becky on the EWITHBECKS on Joy Prime, he explains that the song talks about the everyday struggle of the regular Ghanaian and how they relate to it.
According to him, the song has no other ulterior motive as many perceive.
“We released a song called ‘xetoto’ and it became very controversial. The coming out of the sun is what I meant. I also understand that it’s a double entendre in literature where you use one word that has two meanings.”
He added that he is not surprised some ‘Ga’ people understood him from their own point of view.
“When they hear anything with ‘Toto’ they hear something else,” the rapper added.
