Popular highlife artist now turned evangelist, Papa Shee in a recent interview has said that Ghanaians love profane songs than positive songs or songs that inspire.
According to him, because of Ghanaians likeness for profane songs, it inspired him to release more of such songs like ‘koyon so’ and ‘ate pa’ which gives the description of the body parts of a woman.
“I had to figure Ashanti ladies, Fanti ladies, Ewe ladies and Ga ladies because they were well endowed and many accepted it,” Papa Shee
Evangelist Papa Shee in the interview also revealed that when he was singing secular songs he heard the calling of God but ignored because he enjoyed being in the world than seeing the light.
The ‘Atadwe’ hitmaker revealed that he accepted the calling of God after the plane he was travelling with nearly crashed on his way back to Germany.
He added that at that time all effort to retrieve his money from his ‘Boy Wonder’ mixtape proved futile.
“Jesus Christ revealed himself to him and promised that he will with him every step of the way so he should go and preach his gospel” he disclosed.
He further indicated that he has remained chaste for the past five years since he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Savior and started full ministry.
