UPDATE: Armed robber who escaped with GHc123K after attacking businessmen at Tema Community One found dead
Reports reaching Gossips24.com indicates that one of the armed robbers who attacked some businessmen at Tema Community One in Accra has been found dead.
A daylight robbery incident occurred today, April 23, 2020, after two armed robbers attacked some businessmen after withdrawing money (GHC123,000) at the Tema Metropolitan Assembly branch of Zenith Bank.
The robber, in an attempt to escape after snatching a vehicle at gunpoint from a Lebanese man who had gone to withdraw cash from the zenith bank, was shot dead by some undisclosed gunmen.
According to an insider who spoke to Gossips24.com, his partner who also tried to escape has was also shot and later found dead.
He is reported to have suffered a stay of bullet in his rib. He boldly snatched a car from a civilian and absconded.
Unfortunately, he got stuck in heavy traffic at Tema Community One, left the car on the road, absconded until he lost his breath, and fell on the floor and died at the spot.
