A Sprinter bus en route to Ablekuma in Accra caught fire Monday night while transporting passengers to their destination.
According to a Ghanaweb report, the bus which had passengers on board recorded no casualties. The car which was heading to Abelekuma from Dzorwulu ended up in flames when it got to the Achimota overhead.

An eyewitness account revealed that all the passengers on board quickly alighted to avoid being injured. The driver and the conductor of the bus did not have a fire extinguisher, so they went in search of water to douse the fire.
