Total Lockdown? Nana Akufo-Addo to address the nation for the eighth time

H.E Nana Akufo-Addo will be addressing the nation for the eighth time since the outbreak of coronavirus in Ghana.

Ghana, On MArch 12, 2020, confirmed its first two cases of coronavirus. The numbers, amidst all measures put in place by the government have kept on increasing.

As at April 26, 2020, the country had recorded 1,550 cases, with 155 recoveries and 11 deaths in total.

Between March 12 and April 27, 2020, the president of Ghana, H.E Nana Akufo-Addo had addressed the nation on seven different occasions outlining various measures to help curb the spread of the virus.

The recent one on Sunday, April 19 2020, saw the first man of the land lifting a partial lockdown earlier imposed on Kasoa, Greater Accra, and the Ashanti Region.

A week after the lockdown was lifted, Ghana recorded 508 cases as the numbers confirmed on the eve of the president’s address, 1042, jumped to 1,550.

Ghanaians are expecting the president to issue more strict measures to help save lives, will it be a Total Lockdown?
