As broke as Ghana is and keep borrowing to finance projects and other stuffs in the country, popular Ghanaian sports journalist, Saddick Adams in a recent tweet has said that the country do not look like a broke country.
His reason for the statement is unknown, but as we can see, as a seriously broke country, the President and ministers are being paid huge allowances after their monthly pay, embezzlement of public funds, and a whole lot more.
He wrote:
We don’t look like a broke country after all tbh
However, a comment to the post that got others agreeing also reads as:
We are not. We happily rape the public purse cyclically, empty it up, borrow to replenish and go again. We pretend we care but we don’t. Selfish and never selfless. Fittest survive and the weak die in penury. That’s why poverty is endemic.
