Nigeria’s topmost female performer, singer, songwriter and actress Tiwatope Savage – Balogun , also known as Tiwa Savage is alleged with a copyright infringement.
The beautiful sensational songstress who released her song “one” last year has been faced with controversies of stealing the song.
Danny Young, one of Nigeria’s young artist came out last year after Tiwa Savage’s song was released to say she stole his lyrics in his 2009 record ‘Oju Tiwon’ without giving him any credit neither did Sheo ask for his permission. His claims were however ignored and Tiwa fans mocked him for trying to tap on Tiwa’s fame.
It seems Danny Young didn’t take it cool and has reported the matter to YouTube as an intellectual property theft.
The most popular streaming site then took down Tiwa Savage’s ‘one’ video because it violates their copyright terms which they are very strict on.
We are yet to get Tiwa Savage’s reaction on this latest development.
