Black Stars and Atletico Madrid midfielder, Thomas Partey, was adjudged the 2019 Footballer of the Year at the Ghana Football Awards event ceremony.
The awards which came off on Sunday, July 21, 2019 saw Partey reigning supreme over the other nominees.
In a report sighted on Citisportsonline.com, the 26-year-old midfielder helped Atletico Madrid finished second in last season’s Spanish League and was a key part of Ghana’s qualification to the 2019 AFCON tournament in Egypt.
