“They are not fools” – John Dumelo slams Mama Lydia for allegedly sharing Ghc50 for votes (photos)

Actor turned politician, John Dumelo has slammed Hon Lydia Alhassan for allegedly giving 50ghc each to some voters in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.

John Dumelo who is contesting for the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary seat faces an arch-nemesis, Lydia Alhassan as they head to the polls on December 7, 2020.

With just two weeks and a few days for the presidential and parliamentary elections to come off a lady who has been identified on Twitter as Afua Dagati has accused the incumbent MP of buying votes as cheap as 50ghc.

In a tweet sighted by Gossips24.com, the lady who was making a complaint to John Dumelo said Madam Lydia shared 50ghc each among security men on Legon Campus.

She alleged the member of parliament also shared a sum of 4000ghc to taxi drivers at Evandy hostel.

Attaching photos of Madam Lydia, Afua Dagati wrote;

“@johndumelo1 yesterday Lydia was on Legon campus sharing 50gh each to the security men and porters. She later shared Gh4000 to the Evandy hostel taxi drivers. What are u doing about it?“

The aspiring MP, John Dumelo took advantage of Afua’s claims – without probing further – to slam the incumbent saying the voters are not fools. He quizzed how on earth the sitting MP could stoop so low by “Sharing 50gh for votes 2 weeks to elections?” as he iterated, “The voters are not fools“.
