Exclusive: The government paid for my expenses during Already music video shoot – Shatta Wale reveals

Multiple Award-winning dancehall Ghanaian icon widely known as Shatta Wale in both the local and international showbiz industry has exclusively disclosed that the Akuffo Addo led NPP government played a significant role in the success of ‘Already’ music video by Beyonce ft himself off the ‘Black Is King Album’.

As claimed by Shatta Wale during an on-air radio interview with ONUA FM just this morning which was keenly monitored by a reporter at Gossips24.com, the government paid for a part of his expenses including food, hotel etc.

In Shatta Wale’s own words in the course of the interview:

This is the time that I’ll say kudos to the current government, not because of politics or anything. The airport understood that I said I wanted my trip to be kept secret and they worked that for me. Kudos to Kotoka and their boss who arranged that for me,

I went through the airport and they took me through VVIP, went into my first class and flew. It was them that paid for my expenses in and out, my hotel, food and everything. That is how come no Ghanaian got to know about it.

Meanwhile, in other news, Nana Addo held the attention of various social network users yesterday after his ‘guyish’ congratulations to Shatta Wale on his top-notch collaboration with the queen of music, Beyonce, through a tweet he shared on his official Twitter page went viral.
