Sunday Igboho’s aides finally granted court bail

The 12 applicants arrested by the State Security Service (SSS) during a raid on the Ibadan residence of freedom fighter Sunday “Igboho” Adeyemo on July 1 were granted bail by the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court on Wednesday.

On the previous postponed date, SSS’s counsel, I. Awo, told the court that some of the identities of the people arrested did not match those on the court order.

Pelumi Olajengbesi, the petitioners’ counsel, then requested a leave of court to change the names and amend the court processes, which was granted by the presiding judge, Obiora Egwuatu.

The 12 applicants were present in court for the rescheduled hearing on Wednesday, one of whom was limping because he couldn’t walk without the assistance of another.

The names of those arrested were changed to Abdullateef Ademola Onaolapo, Amudat Habibat Babatunde, Tajudeen Irinloye, Diekola Jubril Ademola, Abideen Shitu, Jamiu Noah Oyetunji, Ayobami Donald, Uthman Opeyemi Adelabu, Olakunle Oluwapelumi, Raji Kazeem, Taiw
